Monitoring
EVF examines to what extent the European Parliament is aware of the importance of Policy Coherence for Development. By monitoring parliamentary questions, voting behaviour, speeches and publications, the Members of the European Parliament (MEP's) are scrutinised for their efforts to achieve Policy Coherence for Development (PCD).
Each time an MEP engages in a positive action related to one of our coherence cases a news item will be published on this website, and the political group to which the MEP belongs is awarded a star in our PCD monitoring box. At the homepage all stars are added up to show which political groups in the European Parliament are most active in advocating policy coherence for development.
